| Q: |
What formats
can I supply my artwork in?
|
| A: |
In fact you have a number of options.
We use the following packages:
Mac:
| > |
Quark Xpress v6.1 |
| > |
Adobe Illustrator CS |
|
PC:
| > |
Adobe Illustrator v9 |
| > |
CorelDRAW v9 |
|
...so we can accept native QXD, AI,
EPS, PDF and CDR files. However, if
your drawing package cannot output to
one of these formats we can also use
TIFF, JPG, BMP, PNG plus a host of others
(just
ask). If you do supply bitmap images,
please make sure the resolution is at
least 300dpi. |

| Q: |
Can I have
detailed photographic images printed
on my CDs? |
| A: |
Yes you can. For shorter print runs
on CD-R we use the latest high resolution
inkjet printing technology which gives
incredible results. For larger volumes
we would recommend offset rather than
screen printing, as the print resolution
and quality of finish is much higher
- particularly when reproducing gradients
and tints. |

| Q: |
Can we have
blank, labelled media, or does it have
to be duplicated? |
| A: |
No it doesn't, printing is a service
we offer in its own right. A number
of our clients place orders for blank
media but require it to be personalised
to fit in with their corporate image,
burning the CDs individually in-house. |

| Q: |
What do
the terms CMYK, Four Colour Process,
RGB mean? |
| A: |
'CMYK' stands for (C)yan-(M)agenta-(Y)ellow-(K)ey
(which is black) and is a subtractive
colour model - these 4 base colours
combine to print pretty much all other
colours, and the method for using these
4 colours is called the 'Four Colour
Process'. 'RGB' is an additive colour
model used by colour monitors and televisions.
It stands for (R)ed-(G)reen-(B)lue,
the 3 primary colours. IMPORTANT:
When artwork is supplied ready for printing,
the CMYK colour model must be used,
and any bitmaps converted to CMYK. Because
of the differences between the CMYK
and RGB colour models, if any artwork
or component is supplied in RGB, the
printed results will be very different
from what you expect. |

DVDs in any volume you require. |
